An experienced project/ operations manager and communicator specializing in relief, development, educational and psycho-social support programs. Eleven years of service to local and international NGOs, including DRC, SOS and Basmeh & Zeitooneh, leading administrative and field teams Lebanon, Turkey and Canada. Work in Canada as a project manager at the Syrian Canadian Foundation, an academic counsellor and office manager at Mericler: Education without Borders, a motivational speaker at high schools and community spaces. A co-founder and project manager of Our Art Our Stories project, where I provide support through art to refugees and members of marginalized communities. Bilingual in Arabic and English, I have a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Damascus University and a project management certificate from Centennial College. A proven track record of leadership and delivering results – on time, on strategy and on budget – in the humanitarian and not-for-profit sectors.
