About Outi Parkkonen
Recently I am a PHD Student in University of Wasa, in administrative sciences. Working as a CNS in HUCH, abdominal centre. Before that, I have worked as a Registered Nurse since graduation as a RGN in May 1995. My working experience in nursing is very versatile, as I've worked in different areas in Health Care sector from Public Health Care services in Finland to Special Health Care Services in Finland and in England, United Kingdom. I've also worked in Private Health Care Services in Finland and New Zealand. In addition to Basic nursing tasks, I've worked as an assistant ward manager and planned work schedules in four different jobs. I like challenges and I've studied Social and Health Management in the University of Wasa, finished my Masters in Administrative Sciences in 2017. I am looking for new work challenges in the near future. My object of interest is developing better systems for Health Care Services and improving work-related welfare of staff.
