With over 20 years driving groundbreaking software solutions, I'm a leader whose passion fuels innovation with impact. My expertise in cloud services, video analytics, and big data processing – backed by a Master's in Computer Science from Politehnica University of Bucharest – enables me to deliver transformative experiences for Adobe's customers. As Adobe's Senior Director of Engineering, I lead a team crafting highly available cloud services that underpin the work of millions worldwide. We build and manage Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Primetime Authentication and Adobe Concurrency Monitoring. This demands the latest tech – AWS, Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc – and deep cross-functional collaboration. Lately exploring the new world of AI, getting back to coding again, in my spare time. Key achievements include: seamlessly migrating Video Analytics to AWS, architecting a core Adobe Analytics capability on Spark Streaming, and helping secure a Primetime Emmy Engineering Award for Adobe's TV Everywhere solution. Beyond code, I thrive on mentoring talent and building inclusive teams empowered to deliver excellence at scale. I live and breathe Agile methodologies, Java, and software engineering best practices.
