About Owen Gallagher

I am a dedicated and results-driven professional with a strong work ethic. Currently, I work in the design department at MMG Ocean, a marine engineering company based in Killybegs, where I contribute to innovative design solutions for the maritime industry. I manage projects from initial concept through pricing, materials procurement, design completion, and provide support during fabrication. Previously, I gained hands-on experience working with BHP, a Mechanical Engineering company, on a large apartment complex in Crumlin, Dublin. This experience provided me with valuable insights into the construction process, particularly in terms of how buildings are built, and further honed my skills in large-scale project management and day-to-day operations. Earlier in my career, I worked as a Project Planner with Dornan on a data center project in Denmark, where I refined my planning, coordination, and project execution skills. I graduated in 2018 with an Honours Degree (Level 8) in Construction Project Management from IT Sligo. I am always eager to embrace new challenges, grow professionally, and contribute to the success of the projects I work on.
