Owen earned his LLB with First Class Honors from the London School of Economics and his LLM with First Class Honors from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University (with a British Academy Scholarship) and attended SOAS for Japanese language training. Qualified in England and Wales, New York, the British Virgin Islands, and the Cayman Islands, he has over 30 years of international legal experience with leading City firms, Wall Street firms and Offshore Magic Circle firms. Corporate & Commercial: Owen advises on mergers, restructurings, joint ventures, and takeovers. Highlights include representing the target in a Middle Eastern aluminum smelter takeover and advising a Japanese company on a hostile joint venture dispute.
