I thrive to achieve the best within the available time and resources. Currently overseeing a blast hole Automated Drill fleet on a mine production site. Managing day to day activities of the team, planned and adhoc activities to ensure drilling production targets are met or maintained through eliminated or minimised breakdowns of the fleet by ensuring proper utilisation of the Ardvarc and Drillwise systems. Liasing with the customer on best operating methods to reduce running costs while enhancing the life of mine equipment safely. Encouraging the use of Technology to close the gap influenced by human error by promoting Artificial intelligence. Ensuring customer and own company standard operating procedures are adhered to within the workforce. Promoting a culture of expanding sales by making use of posible availability of economies of scale. looking after the company's image, assets and most importantly looking after the most valuable resource,"Humans". Taking part in the planning and scheduling meetings on behalf of the company. Before i worked for an active IT and Engineering service provider to the Mining sector for the past 7 years, started as a System operator, Engineering Technician, Underground wireless network Technician and Automation Network Support Team Lead in charge of the day to day operations of the site, Drill automation Network Maintenance, installations and configuration, liaising between the Company and the customer, maintaining Sales above par by ensuring that all economies of scale that comes with the team on site are enjoyed by our organisation, keeping unwanted risk at a minimum and also making sure desirable risk is turned to opportunities for the company, ensuring that the technology we support (Drill Automation) remains viable to the customer. Maintaining a balanced, well trained and reliable team onsite. Handling all compliance issues on- Site, SHE requirements, Passport 360, Training, Authorisations, Permits to work, Job Risk Assessments, HR functions, Sales and project management. My experience in the mining sector both underground and surface in coal and Iron ore mines have given me the edge to understand the need for maintaining less down time by making making sure that time, manpower and other resources are well managed to ensure the safety of Human Resources, Machine Resources and Productivity are all balanced to prevent losses in all the branches concerned. Ultimately this has given me a mindset that makes me to observe, learn, adapt and play my part either as an individual or as a Team member.
