About Owen Webber

My name is Owen, I grew up in Murphysboro, IL. I am a graduate of John A. Logan College in Carterville, IL and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. I now live in Plainfield, IL. Throughout my experience at JALC and SIU I acquired a versatile knowledge of both Information Technology and Computer Science. From my IT internship at Continental, to working as a student IT Hardware Technician, to making a 3D mobile augmented-reality game for my CS Senior Project, these experiences have shaped my character and it traces back to my love and fascination for computers and technology. My work goals are to increase my knowledge and expertise of cloud computing and managing different systems and environments. I want to use this knowledge to further enhance my current level of understanding of IT and leverage my skills for the betterment of companies and associates in the companies as well. Arguably most importantly though, is to have fun while doing it. I love my current job on the Service Desk very much and I love helping people. Not only that, I am also learning new things every single day and I have a great company that supports me in my career as well.
