About Ozcan Acar

Ozcan is a certified Prince 2 IT professional with a rich and diversified repertoire of IT experience. He has started his professional career as a developer/designer for the biggest retail Bank in Belgium, in After 4 years of this stint as a developer and designer, Ozcan transitioned to the role of a Senior Designer for a major financial institution. In the 3 years as a senior designer, Ozcan was intensively involved in implementing the ISO15022 SWIFT standard for Settlement instructions. Starting 2008, Ozcan made his first forays into IT Management. Since then, in all these 6 years, Ozcan has played a wide spectrum of IT Management roles spanning through Project/Engagement management, Service management, Release management and Delivery management. Ozcan is currently managing time critical projects, market driven initiatives and client projects. Ozcan has demonstrated unwavering commitment in his professional work. All his projects have been delivered on time, within budget and with the quality required by such sensitive applications. In his current role as a Delivery manager, he has a diversified portfolio comprising of a 24/7 Production support of a core critical system, Application Development and Maintenance support, and new project initiatives, in a multisite mode covering 4 delivery centers in India and Belgium. Throughout his career, Ozcan has developed deep functional expertise of the financial systems and can therefore be an effective bridge between IT and the Business. Ozcan is also recognized as a leader for his team, sharing his vision of how IT and Business are complementary to each other, and helping each person to develop their skills and grow in their own careers.
