About P. Dennis Mitchell

I am an Audio Post Mixer/Editor and at one time or another I have mixed a project in almost every possible genre of media: Trailers, Commercials, Cable TV Promos, In-Store films for a fashion retailer, Indie and Documentary films, Web films, Reality TV shows, and a Live Music Variety TV Show! Additionally, I have experience in acoustic design and studio construction; selecting equipment, furniture and acoustical materials, overseeing the installation of those products and working with facility personnel to achieve the best outcome on projects for Lifetime Television, RefineryNYC, and a number small private studios. Prior to working in television, I worked in the major label music industry, recording and mixing hundreds records for many major artists and producers. Some of the most successful tracks are: “My Prerogative” for Bobby Brown, “Vogue” for Madonna, and “Personal Jesus” for Depeche Mode. I have extensive live recording experience as well. I have also mixed live sound for an Off-Broadway musical and a musical at a major theme park. I enjoy traveling for work and have mixed records in London, Brussels, Milan, LA, and Miami. I also spent a period of time flying to various cities around the world performing video teleconference QC and management for one of the top hedge fund managers in the world. I have an easy-going personality and a good sense of humor. I am a diligent and self-sufficient problem solver, and I am accustomed to doing whatever is necessary to get the job done on time.
