Dr. P. N. DARDE received his B.E.(Civil) degree in 1967 and M. Tech.(Water Resources (Engineering) from IIT Delhi in 1973. He has been awarded his Ph.D. degree in hydraulics by Delhi University in 1984.*He has worked as one of the faculty member in Delhi college of Engineering for 12 years and taught various subjects at undergraduate as well as post graduate levels.*He has been the Co-Principal investigator of research scheme carried out for CSIR Delhi.*He has worked in National Hydroelectric Power Corporation, a Govt. of India Enterprise as a General Manager for Execution, Planning and Design of various Hydroelectric Power projects in India.*He has planned and designed Tankpur HE project (120 MW), Dul Hasti HE project (390 MW) and Rangit (60 MW) to name few of them.*He was associated with planning and design of Diddessa (60 MW) project in Ethiopia.*He has been the consultant for the planning and design of Hydro Electric Projects with Syenergics India, Mott McDonald India Ltd.*He has been in Ethiopia for 4 years as a Professor to guide and teach Hydraulic and Hydropower Engineering subjects in Arbaminch University.*He has also worked in EIT Mekelle University Mekellee Ethiopia.*He has visited Canada, USA, China,Kathmandu and Srilanka to present the papers in International National Conferences.*He has worked as a Prof./HOD(Civil) and Director-Principal of Hindu College of Engineering Sonepat.*Presently he is working as a Prof /HOD(civil) in JNU jaipur.*He is a Fellow of The Institute of Engineers(India) and a Life Member of Indian Society for Hydraulics *He has contributed about 30 articles in National and International Conferences.*He has authored four books namely,Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Machines,Treatise on Non-conventional sources of energy,Treatise on Hydro Power Engineering and Treatise on Engineering Hydrology.Engineering
