I am a former industrial technology teacher with seven years of teaching experience in the Dominican Republic. I hold a college degree from Instituto Tecnologico de Las Americas (ITLA) in automated manufacturing. During my time as a teacher, I taught robotics, principles of engineering and design, introduction to computer programming and digital media. My wife is from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and following our wedding in November 2022, I began the process of working through the legal immigration process to establish legal residence. Now that I have obtained my legal residence, social security card and employment authorization documents from the United States government, I am currently working to find fulltime employment that aligns with my professional training and qualifications outlined in my enclosed resume. At present, I am actively seeking employment in either an education-related position or a professional trade that most aligns with my background in engineering and automated manufacturing. I have considerable experience working in positions that require process improvement, process development or project management. I excel at finding innovative solutions to challenging and complex problems. I am highly organized and possess excellent interpersonal skills. I am also bilingual, with oral and written proficiencies in English and Spanish.
