About Pablo Magliola

I started my own IT business in Argentina back in 2004, delivering end-user support, networking and infrastructure solutions to small and medium businesses. My focus has always been on proactiveness, strategic planning and aligning IT with business goals. In 2020 I moved to New Zealand, where I started working at Fisheye IT, a Managed Service Provider also focused on SMBs and with a work culture very much alike the one I carried over from my experience as a business owner. I'm currently working as an IT Operations Manager, leading the tech team and linking all the different areas of the business together. I'm strongly skilled both from the technical and managerial perspective. Having grown a business from a one-man band to an established organisation provided me vast experience in different areas and allowed me to develop a big-picture view without leaving aside the focus on customer service delivery. Automation, and standardisation are my scaling tools; fierceness and tenaciousness my drivers. Cyber-security is a passion but also an area of expertise. I've completed the CISSP course and applied its concepts on many different industries through implementations, deployments and most recently by providing expert consultancy. Networking, firewalling, VPN, MFA and Wi-Fi are my areas of interest. I have vast experience and knowledge about the MSP space, the market, its vendors, competitors and biggest players. Over the years I've dealt with multiple vendors and a diverse client base, providing me with a deep understanding of the industry.
