About Page Durham

With over 20 years in education and instructional design, I specialize in creating transformative learning experiences that merge innovation, strategy, and heart. From leading LMS transitions across 23 institutions to designing AI-powered workshops for K12, higher ed, and government professionals, my work centers on one core mission: empowering educators to embrace the future—confidently and ethically. As a Quality Matters Master Reviewer and national presenter, I’ve built my reputation on high standards and high impact. My workshops—whether for 49 Virginia school districts, federal acquisition professionals, or national organizations like Quality Matters—focus on actionable AI integration, gamification, and learner-first design. I’m also the sole facilitator for Quality Matters' AI workshops and the creator of a 5-part GenAI series for the Defense Acquisition University. In 2025, I took the TEDxDAU stage to share my talk, “Level Up or Lose: AI, Gaming, and Acquisition,” urging educators to adopt the gamer mindset: curious, resilient, and relentless. That philosophy fuels my belief that AI isn't here to replace educators—it’s here to amplify what makes us uniquely human. Let’s build the future of learning—one workshop, one innovation, one learner at a time.
