About Paige Hansen

After a successful career as a High School Drama and Musical Theatre Teacher and having created both a successful Film Acting and Film Production Academy in the Delta School District, Paige took on the role of the Delta School District's Administrator in charge of Academies and Choice Programs. Here she oversees 13 Sports and Fine Arts Academies as well as spearheads the development of new Academies in close collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team. Most recently she has created a Performance Academy in partnership with Vancouver Opera and launched a Visual Effects Academy. A recent addition to Paige's Portfolio is as the Administrator in charge of Farm Roots Mini School! The focus of this every second day Farm School is Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Farming! Fund Raising and grant writing has been a critical component of all of her work. Paige is a creative education professional with a MEd focused in Curriculum Studies from the University of British Columbia. A graduate of UBC's Education program: Transformational Educational Leadership Program as well as UBC's (MOOC program) Reconciliation through Indigenous Education. And to this, Paige is a core member and is passionately involved in the Delta School District’s Equity Scan Committee which aims to bring greater equity to Indigenous youth in the Delta School District.
