I’m a passionate and results-driven Operations Manager with expertise in team leadership, HR, recruitment, financial oversight, and client success. At X Movement, I serve as Operations Manager and Senior Lead, overseeing a Junior Lead and the 20-30 Child and Youth Instructors they coordinate, guiding their leadership development and ensuring seamless program delivery that supports children’s wellness. My role blends strategy, people management, and problem-solving to keep operations running smoothly while fostering a high-performing, supportive team culture. I’m a strong advocate for people—championing children’s well-being, supporting my team’s growth, and uplifting those around me. My drive is shaped by empathy, fairness, and a belief in the power of community. Since starting at X Movement as a Health Promotions Specialist engaging with 500+ kids weekly, I’ve grown into leadership roles overseeing HR, recruitment, financial operations, and program management. I thrive on creating efficient systems, clear communication, and strong team dynamics to support both staff and clients. Beyond X Movement, I explored entrepreneurship and mental health advocacy by launching Going Mental, a social media and e-commerce venture (2020–2022). Through it, I raised awareness about mental health, fostered meaningful conversations, and built a supportive community. With 7+ years in hospitality and event management, I bring organization, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering excellent experiences under pressure. I hold a B.A. in Business Administration and History from Trent University and a Diploma in Special Event Management from George Brown College.
