About Paige Vasserman

As the assistant nurse manager, I demonstrate leadership and organization of patient care to assure continuity of care and peer accountability, including access to care and discharge planning. I pride myself on using my advanced clinical knowledge/judgment to promote staff involvement in interdisciplinary care collaboration, planning, decision-making, and evaluating outcomes. I am a knowledgeable resource in clinical practice for the nursing staff in regard to their assigned roles and responsibilities. Working with the unit staff in systematically evaluating current practice and outcomes for groups of patients to provide excellent care. It is a priority in my role to guide, coach, support and evaluate staff from a leadership perspective. Continually looking at my professional scope of practice, standards of care, and evidenced-based practice to evaluate patient centered care. Always adhering to established policies, standards of care and standards of practice. In my leadership role I work on improving nursing care through action plans and education to all nursing staff. Oversees the day-to-day operations of assigned area and responsible for administration, management, supervision, and evaluation of both nursing care and nursing personnel on designated units. It is important to demonstrate, promote, create and ensures a cultural of diversity in the workforce in which values and needs of all individuals are respected. Finally, I provide my staff with an environment that fosters employees to perform to their full individual potential.
