About Pak Hei Ricky Chow

Graduated the University of Hull with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Zoology, prior to attending to the University of Hull I attended Hartpury college where i studied and completed a 2 year BTEC L3 Animal Management and was awarded a D*D. During my second and final year at Hartpury college, i completed and was awarded a Crest gold certificate on an independent project titled "How the media portray sharks as dangerous". While completing my bachelors degree and BTEC diploma i have worked with dissecting tools on a variety of specimens ranging from: mammalian digestive systems, respiratory and reproductive systems, fish, equine cannon bone, cephalopods (squid), Crustaceans (crabs) and nematodes. During my first year of university was able to further develop my microscopy skills by learning how to focus a compound microscope and use a dissecting microscope. Along with microscopy skills i learned how a correctly load and balance a centrifuge for separation of liquids for experiments.
