About Pal Blanke

I started out in interaction and visual design — and I’ve been hands-on ever since. I’ve always stayed close to the work: still designing, still caring about the pixels, still believing the small details make the biggest difference. Over the years, I’ve worked on mobile apps, tablet apps, design systems, mobile payments, AR/VR experiences, and large-scale digital platforms. From the first iPhone to the rise of spatial design, I’ve lived through (and designed through) every era: skeuomorphism, flat design, and now the return of nuance and materiality in new forms like Liquid Glass. I’ve led design systems, shaped product experiences, run stakeholder workshops, guided junior designers, and collaborated closely with devs to get the details right. I like being close to the work — setting the vision, building the structure, and helping teams bring it all to life.
