About Paluck Deep

Hi, I’m Paluck, a UI/UX designer with 2.5 years of industry experience. Over the years, I have worked in industries like banking, healthcare, and AI-based solutions to solve real-world challenges. I volunteered as UX Designer for a women’s health centre as well as Kindness Hub in Sydney. Being a gender equity ambassador at UTS, I conducted design thinking workshops in schools of Sydney. As part of my internship IIT Roorkee, I redesigned a healthcare app for infants in rural India, where the ease-of-use was increased by 33.34% and the task completion time reduced by 33.34%. During my masters at the University of Technology Sydney, I created an Interactive Virtual Persona using ChatGPT 4 to assist UX designers in the human-centred design process. This project got a High Distinction making my GPA 6.44/7. While working as a Project Engineer at Wipro, I collaborated with designers and developers to test the accessibility of the client’s website. That’s how I came across this field of design and the possibility of working at the intersection of technology and design which is exciting to me. Achievements:* Received star recognition twice by the client (Lloyds Banking Group)* Prototype for “Mosaic” showcased at UTS Tech Festival 2024 * Received third prize at Hi-res design conference, IIT Roorkee * Prototype for “CulturePop app for immigrants” showcased at the UTS Tech Festival 2023 * Recipient of Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship During leisure time, I like to indulge in nail art to express myself creatively, tennis to keep myself fit and travel to find inspiration from nature.
