Hi, LinkedIn networkers! I enjoy using my strategic, analytical, and administrative skills to help executives and their teams have efficient, effective, and organized offices.(And for quilting.) I am proud of my excellent people and communication skills, which I have honed through various jobs, to create trust and confidence in myself, and those I work for. Managing projects, analyzing systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness, and organizing events have been some of the most satisfying aspects of my jobs. I want to make people feel seen, heard and appreciated, in hopes that this will help them live into their best self. Being out in nature, quilting and reading feed my soul. Nature relaxes and restores me. Reading can both relax me and challenge me to think and behave differently. And quilting engages my entire being. The thought process of analyzing quilt patterns, fabric colors, textures, hues and patterns and how they work together invigorates and stretches me. Strategizing how I put these all together and what to change to make it my own encourage me to look outside the box and pull ideas from other artwork and aspects of life. In piecing the fabrics together one must determine when the finest details matter (such as matching points) and "when done is better than perfect." Each of my quilts is unique! Thus the skills and talents I use for myself in quilting are the same skills I use in my job, because they are who I am-strategy, analysis, discovery, and creativity-my strengths, my life.
