About Pam Knights

Pam Knights, a branding strategist and marketing specialist, is the owner of Pam Knights Communications (PKC), with offices in Northfield, VT and North Hero in Vermont’s Champlain Islands. PKC offers branding, marketing communications, website development, email marketing, PR, and event planning services for hospitality, culinary, agritourism, tourism and small businesses in VT and NH, and beyond. A frequent presenter at conferences, Pam recently gave a workshop on “Brand Building through Special Events” at the International Agritourism Conference on September 1, 2022 in Burlington, VT. She has also given workshops for the SBA, NOFA-VT, and the Vermont Tourism Summit among others. Prior to starting Pam Knights Communications in Pam directed communications, publications, media relations, annual meetings, and special events for Vermont Land Trust’s (VLT) home and 5 regional offices where she worked for 3 years. Before VLT, Pam directed public relations, VIP and special events, and the amateur continuing education programs for New England Culinary Institute (NECI) for 13 years. While at NECI, Pam worked to establish the Vermont Fresh Network (VFN) with the Vermont Department of Agriculture. The organization fosters partnerships among Vermont’s farmers, chefs, and consumers to strengthen Vermont agriculture. VFN is now a nationally recognized model for the food-to-table movement and has contributed to building food tourism in Vermont. Pam continues to be a leader in the farm to table movement and agritourism. Pam has created and promoted nationally recognized promotional events over the years to include numerous Harvest Festivals, the Annual Invitational Culinary Quadrathlons and Celebrity Chef Whisk-Away Culinary Weekends for NECI, and the statewide Barnstorming Festival for VLT. Pam’s many and varied interests include yoga, gardening, flowers, family, cooking, walking and hiking, horses, carriage driving, rug hooking, traveling, natural beauty, and photography.
