pring100@yahoo.com I am competent at managing responsibilities in an ever-changing working environment. As a quick learner I am eager to adapt further knowledge and skills in customer service or operations management that would enhance my excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I am highly reliable, detail-orientated and a self-starter who can be counted on to complete assignments. My teaching career started in a middle school that was located north of Little Rock, Arkansas, outside of the SAC Air Force base. Since I looked as young as the students I was challenged by this diverse group, but I won them over by showing them respect, kindness and concern. One of my major goals was to teach my students to be able to write a 3-paragraph essay with correct punctuation. By the end of each school year I felt that each student had reached this accomplishment which was confirmed by the assessment testing. I was the yearbook adviser for four of these school years. Right after our second child was born my husband was transferred to Dallas where I became employed at Taylor Publishing Company as a customer service account executive. My challenges were many as I learned the daily routine of working with my customers and sales reps in the territories that I was assigned. For each customer I was helping with the planning and creating of a yearbook for their school and as technology changed so did the yearly process. From the beginning the communication was driven by phone calls and later became more of an email/message process. Each yearbook was a different creation that was produced after overcoming many problems, how-tos, and decisions with the school adviser and sales rep. Throughout this complete process I learned the company’s system and was able to work with the many aspects of the best possible way to assist the customer. Also, I was able to meet many of my advisers while I attended workshops in many of the states in the northeast US and locally. I’m in the process of looking for a new Customer Service Coordinator/Management position in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I would appreciate any advice or connection that you can share.
