Being an enthusiastic and successful marketing strategist, I thrive on challenges, armed with a toolkit that spans brand management, sales, interactive, digital & marketing strategies, omni-channel marketing, brand personality & campaign innovation, product branding, social media management & strategy, key events & experience planning & execution, sales tools and more.With 14 years at an award- winning global media agency, I've collaborated with industry giants, crafting innovative campaigns like ‘Find the Golden Egg’ with Beacon whilst continuously studying to keep up with international trends. Diversifying into product marketing, I was a Marketing Manager for a group of 11 companies/ brands that specialise in product development, guiding products from conception to a market, retail reality. Now, as the Marketing and Communications Manager for the Africa region of the third largest explosives company in the world, I leverage my strategic ability to drive both global and local objectives, targeting operational excellence whilst building stronger bonds.But wait, there's more! Beyond the boardroom, I've immersed myself for over a decade in the tourism and hospitality industry as a travel & radio presenter and writer. After almost a decade of being live on Breakfast and Drive shows, I not only shared stories but perfected the art of communication and listener engagement. You will find that I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast that enjoys adventures, hiking, nature guiding, camping, or perfecting my golf swing.I volunteer for various charitable causes and have even adopted an elephant. Completing the 9 Peak Challenge, conquering South Africa's highest mountains, stands testament to my adventurous spirit.I recently completed my e-Diploma in Digital Marketing Strategy at Harvard Business School which included AI Integration tools and the latest trends in acquiring and retaining customers. Currently, I'm finishing my Harvard Specialization in Marketing certification. I studied towards two BA degrees in Marketing Communications and Audio Visual and completed a Radio Presenting Course. A Social Media Certification through UCT, a First Aid NQF2 Certificate and currently completing my FGASA NQF2, accredited with CATHSSETA, form part of my portfolio.In a nutshell, I’m a dynamic South African professional, embracing life's adventures with enthusiasm, growth, and tangible results.
