Belief in the power of talent management came before she had the words to describe it; driving her to find her voice for talent development. As Founder and President of Fillmon and Associates, LLC, Pam merges vision and best practices to impact retention and engagement by further enhancing existing capacities with respect to the needs of the business. A native Floridian, Pam counts extensive wilderness travel as foundational to her career in talent management. The wilderness taught Pam about change, flexiblility and innovative leadership. She learned to plan for and tolerate uncertainty. Wilderness travel instilled an appreciation of the consequences of staying in learning mode and connecting with people. As a result, Pam sees people for how their strengths can contribute to any solution. Genuine in her manner Pam extends trust and expects trust, having acquired these skills during adverse wilderness conditions. Consequently she understands the connection and responsibility that all of us have to each other. With a “bone-deep” curiosity, Pam has a hunger for the stories of people. They recognize her nonjudgmental listening expertise because they feel seen at a deep level. She extends safety so that wonder, trust and hope can nurture new ways of thinking and doing. A strategic thinker armed with the ability to act decisively and independently while incorporating consideration of people, Pam knows that determining and applying the lessons of failure matter.
