I am a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University. I have 12 years experience as a Registered Nurse with three of those years on Med/Surg at Johnson Memorial Hospital before I transferred to The CCU. I completed 2 years on the CCU at Johnson Memorial then went to Eskenazi Health in thier resource pool. I floated between many floor for around 2 years then settled at Franciscan Health for the last 6 years. I have extensive education on the ICU including IV medication dosage titration, EKG interpretation, VAP prevention, CAUTI Prevention, resuscitation in septic patients, ventilator support, caring for trauma and burn patients, care of and removal of arterial sheaths, obtaining and interpretation of labs, obtaining and interpretation of arterial blood gases, management of post-cardiac arrest targeted temperature management patients, assisting MD w/ bedside procedures, care and interpretation of esophageal dopplers, care of and interpretation of Swan gauze device, care of DIEP flaps, procedural sedation, EKOS management, CVVH Management, CLEBSI prevention, care of external ventricular drains, mentoring and training new RNS to the role of ICU nurse, and many more. I have completed over 700 hours of clinical experience in Family Practice ranging all age groups.
