About Pamela Renwick

My work passion is creating new processes and systems from the ground up, achieving seemingly impossible feats by inspiring staff and embracing innovation and technology. I love the interconnection between people and IT processes and building systems that incorporate the best of both worlds. I’ll use automation whenever possible to reduce monotonous tasks, but understand the importance of real connections and when you need personal interaction to achieve success. I love working in the public service, turning complex legislation and issues into simple, meaningful programs that have an impact on Albertans. You will find me in the thick of every problem, finding innovate ways to solve it – for me there isn’t just a plan A, I always have a plan B, C, and D. Our staff are our greatest asset and I believe in creating the environment necessary to allow them to achieve their best. There is not a job I would not perform or a task that I would not do to help my team to achieve its goals. I am a hands-on leader who is just as happy working on the smallest detail or the grand strategic plan. Outside of work, my passion for building new things from the ground up is apparent from the steady stream of house renovation, landscaping, and redecorating projects that plague my household. What can I say, I love everything about a project – the inspiration, vision, implementation, and the feeling of success that comes when you pull it off!
