About Pamela Spera

I have been practicing law in Minnesota for several years and am licensed in Minnesota and New Jersey. I am experienced as both a litigator and corporate counsel, with a focus on employment law. I have briefed and argued numerous summary judgment motions in state and federal district court and appeals before the Minnesota Supreme Court, Minnesota Court of Appeals, and the Eighth Circuit. I also teach Appellate Advocacy as an adjunct law professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and I am a Commissioner of the City of Eden Prairie. My credentials include a Juris Doctor with Honors, Master of Arts in English with Honors, Appellate Clerkship, Law Review, and graduate fellowship. Examples of my accomplishments are reversals in the Minnesota Court of Appeals; Minnesota Supreme Court affirmance in a case of first impression interpreting Minnesota nonprofit corporation law; successful defense of summary judgment motions in state and federal court; and district court Orders granting motions to compel discovery, admit and exclude evidence, claim punitive damages, and hold the parent corporation liable for the negligence of its subsidiaries.
