As an accomplished library professional and educator, I bring over 13 years of progressive experience in library management, cataloging, and information resource services. My expertise spans across higher education, commercial real estate, and academic publishing, where I’ve led teams, managed complex systems, and contributed to innovative projects that drive digital transformation and enhance user experience.At Rutgers University, I currently serve as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Communication and Information, where I teach a master’s level course on Cataloging & Classification. This course delves into the fundamentals of information description, ontology, and the application of taxonomies, helping to shape the next generation of information professionals.In my role as Office Manager at Alepooh Property Management, I manage the daily operations of a bustling commercial real estate office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows that support business goals.Previously, I dedicated over a decade to Texas Woman’s University (TWU) Blagg-Huey Library, where I rose to the position of Director of Collection Management and Resource Services (CMRS). Here, I led a dynamic team across three campuses, overseeing resource services, acquisitions, and cataloging. I managed a collections budget of over $2 million, negotiated with vendors, and played a critical role in resource discovery, preservation, and access. As a certified administrator of the Alma library management system and expert cataloger, I made system-critical decisions that supported the library’s mission and enhanced the accessibility of resources.My experience is underpinned by a strong commitment to data-driven decision-making, staff development, and cross-functional collaboration.
