Amentum April 2019 - September 2022Human Resource GeneralistI have worked in the human resource profession for more than 10 years. I am current with both the SHRM-CP and PHR certifications. My experience encompasses the retail, automotive, and federal contracting environments. In addition to the more common aspects of the human resource profession - onboarding, background checks, interviews, investigations, FMLA, and the ADA interactive process, I am also familiar with EEOC investigations, collective bargaining negotiations, union grievance processes. Additionally, I acted as the primary trainer for mandatory courses covering ethics, timekeeping, internet security and other courses as required. I worked closely with the corporate recruiter to maintain staffing levels as appropriate. I participated in the Safety Advisory Committee and worked closely with the Safety Specialist to minimize on the job injuries and manage Workers' Compensation Claims. The COVID-19 pandemic required that I manage corporate guidelines and that COVID policies were in accordance with CDC guidelines. During my tenure on the most recent contract, we facilitated recruitment and filled vacancies equivalent to almost 75% of the site due to customer hire of the contract employees. Besides our normal hiring processes, I was required to facilitate Deers/Identification Card Enrollment, System Authorization Access Request (SAAR), and Contractor Security Investigation processes to hire replacement employees.
