Roles and Responsibilities: Full Product Design and Development engine cooling systems like (Heat exchange's and Exhaust Gas Re-circulation Cooler) Review of of 3D and 2D design as per customer inputs and packaging Making DFMEA and taking reviews in CFTs as a lead Preparation of Design Validation and Testing plans Close monitoring and participating in DVs and PVs during product cycle phase Prototype development and design as per customer requirement and requests Participating in vehicle level trials during development phase Steady state analysis for Direct intercooler, Exhaust gas Recirculation, Indirect Intercooler, Radiator, Heater for pressure drop and heat rejection calculation Transient analysis of Direct intercooler, Exhaust gas Recirculation, Indirect Intercooler, Radiator, Heater, Fan for life cycle prediction as well as pressure drop and heat transfer calculation. Full steady and unsteady conjugated heat transfer analysis for Radiator, EGR, Indirect intercooler Boiling risk calculation for high risk products like EGR and iCAC. Fan curve modelling using different approaches like fan momentum source, moving reference frames and rigid body motion Cooling module test rig setup for air flow prediction and comparing it to real experimental results Developing CFD methodology and macros for heat exchangers Testing correlation with CFD with different approaches and input conditions Mesh sensitivity analysis for different type of CFD analysis Working closely with customer timelines and internal customer Working on new technology products for development Aeroacoustics analysis of CRFMS in hemi-anechoic chamber
