Dr. Pankaj Kumar Tripathi received a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Lucknow, Lucknow, in the area of soft condensed matter physics: liquid crystals. During this period, he was a recipient of JRF and SRF fellowship sponsored by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). His thrust area of research is focused on the dielectric and electro-optical properties of liquid crystals and nanocomposites for display and photonics applications. He got a very prestigious Dr. D.S Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship under the scheme of UGC, New Delhi. He has worked as a Kothari Fellow in the Department of Physics, Institute of Science Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has worked as postdoctoral research on microfluidic devices in Industry and academic platforms at Konkuk University, Seoul, South Korea. He has served as an assistant professor and academic administrator, at Lovely Professional University, Punjab and Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, UK. He is a life member of the Indian Liquid Crystal Society, International Liquid Crystals Society, British Liquid Crystal Society, and Indian Science Congress, Kolkata. He is a reviewer to various refereed journals. His area of research interest includes liquid crystals, polymers, carbon nanotubes (CNTs), THz, Photonics Devices, Organic solar cells, Perovskite Solar cells, Quantum dots solar cells, and Quantum dots composites for various applications. He has extensive research experience in photolithography, and nanotechnology, and is an expert in device fabrication, with a well understanding of the properties of liquid crystals and quantum dots. He is passionate about the latest developments in advanced technologies, the ways these developments can be implemented in a real-world situation, and how these developments can positively impact common people. His research articles are presented at national and international seminars and conferences in many countries, namely, Germany, Sweden, South Korea, Malaysia, etc. He has published several research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Professor, at Sharda University, Greater Noida.
