About Pankit Doshi

I am the Office Managing Partner for the San Francisco and Silicon Valley Offices at McDermott Will & Emery LLP and on the Firmwide Management Committee. I serve as lead counsel to companies in state and federal courts around the country in cases involving prosecution and defense of unfair business competition claims, including trade secret misappropriation and the enforcement of restrictive covenants, breach of contract and whistleblower complaints. I also defend employers in complex wage and hour class action and representative actions. I also serve as a strategic advisor to clients in a variety of areas, including corporate, M&A and private equity transactions, IP strategy and misclassification issues. I regularly provide advice and counseling to employers of all sizes, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups, including the structuring of restrictive covenants, protection of intellectual property, development of compliance strategies, evaluation of independent contractor and exempt status relationships, and preparation of executive employment agreements. I have experience representing companies in a variety of industries, including technology, financial services, healthcare and transportation.
