Pankit Thakker has achieved success as an actor, since he first appeared as a Lead on Indian Television Screen in TV Czarina Ekta Kapoors extremely popular soap opera "Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii" in 2001. Owing to its tremendous popularity, the series was re-telecast on various Indian channels including STAR Plus & DD National. The series was also shown on TV Asia channel in USA in 2006. Pankit's versatility has been evidenced by the varied roles he has done on the Indian Television. He has done more than a dozen soap operas and worked with a remarkable list of acclaimed production houses, tv channels and technicians. With an IMDB RATING of 8.8 the Critically Acclaimed "Special Squad" is an Indian crime drama television series, which premièred on STAR One in 2004. The series was produced by Deven Khote, Zarina Mehta and Ronnie Screwvala. Owing to its tremendous popularity, the show was re-run on many other subsidiary of STAR channels. In 2007, he went on to play one of the leads in "Dill Mill Gayye" an Indian soap medical drama series that aired on STAR One.
