About Panos Kolios

I’m a Senior ML Engineer & Data Scientist at EY with two years of experience building and deploying advanced AI solutions, particularly in the areas of Generative AI and intelligent agent systems. I hold an MEng degree from the National Technical University of Athens, where I graduated with distinction (GPA: 9.53/10). My thesis, Neural Networks with System 2-type Capabilities, explored cognitive-inspired architectures for reasoning and compositional generalization. You can find a copy of my thesis in the Featured section of my profile. Since then, I have focused my career on building intelligent systems that combine technical rigor with real-world value. My recent work centers on agentic AI architectures and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, leveraging large language models to create robust, responsive solutions for enterprise clients. Beyond the code, I believe in a future where AI becomes a powerful ally—automating repetitive tasks, supporting complex decision-making, and ultimately enhancing human productivity, creativity, and well-being.
