About Paolo Ceppi
I hold a PhD in Molecular Pathology (University of Turin, Italy) and completed my postdoctoral training at the Northwestern University in Chicago. Since August 2015, I am a Junior Group Leader at the Interdisciplinary Center of Clinical Research (IZKF) of the FAU University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, in Erlangen, Germany, in the field of Molecular Oncology. Since August 2019, I am also an Associate Professor in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department of the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, Denmark. My group explores the molecular mechanisms that render the cancer cells aggressive and chemo-resistant. The work is carried out at the interface between basic and translational cancer science, with the aim of developing novel and more effective therapies.
