About Paolo Esposito

I am an Associate in Risk Management at PwC Italy, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Financial Institutions, International Finance and Risk Management at Sapienza University of Rome, with a curriculum in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. At PwC, I have gained hands-on experience in Risk Management, supporting the review and enhancement of Risk Appetite Frameworks (RAF), developing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and preparing strategic reports for Risk Committees and Boards of Directors in compliance with ICAAP/SREP requirements. I also contributed to the implementation of Third Party Risk Management frameworks, ICT risk assessments, and DORA regulatory compliance for significant banks. Previously, I worked as a proprietary FX trader with FTMO, managing a account through systematic and discretionary strategies on FX and global indices, consistently outperforming benchmark targets. Additionally, I have collaborated with AlphaCapitalGroup, further strengthening my quantitative and analytical background. Certified in Risk Management for Banks (AIFIRM), I aim to further deepen my expertise in quantitative methods for Risk Management, with a particular focus on Market Risk.
