About Paramjot Panda

I have a strong educational background and a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare sector. I hold an MPH in Epidemiology from Manipal University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration from Medvarsity, and a Bachelor in Physiotherapy from Utkal University. Currently, I am working as a Lecturer at AIPH University, where I am responsible for teaching master and executive students, guiding students for dissertations, writing grants for projects, and project management. Previously, I worked as a Research Associate for the Diagnostic for Health System Transformation in Odisha, where I conducted a literature review related to access to healthcare in difficult-to-reach areas, collected primary data through consultations on the difficult areas approach, analyzed data and wrote reports, developed case studies on best practices in difficult areas approach, and conducted secondary data analysis. I also worked as a Deputy Executive Officer at Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, Government of Andhra Pradesh, India, where I worked for the National Health Protections Scheme, conducted audits of hospitals as per National Quality Assurance Standard to issue clearance for empanelment with Dr NTRVST, proposed Doctor health clinic and prepared Guidelines for implementation, supervised the Diet and Nutrition Program of Andhra Pradesh, supervised and guided Management Information System (MIS) to generate quality data for research and presentation, coordinated with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, government of India, and various other key stakeholders, organized meetings with multiple stakeholders like government and private representatives, medical specialists, conferences and workshops, enhanced packages for treatment procedures, and conducted secondary data analysis of patient data and writing research articles for publications. I have also participated in various student projects and have published several research articles in Clinical Epidemiology and Global Health, Archives of Mental Health, International Journal of Research in Pharmacology & Pharmacotherapeutics, Chrismed Journal of Health & Research, and Obesity Medicine. Furthermore, I have attended several professional development workshops and have received certificates in various courses related to my field. I am proficient in English and Odiya, and my hobbies include cooking, reading, traveling, and painting.
