Background
About Paras C.
I build internet-scale infrastructure on the data path — where state, correctness, and reliability matter. Most of my work sits at the intersection of simplicity vs speed, latency vs correctness, and specialization vs generalization. I debug through code, logs, and people. I value observability, early failure, and systems that scale without drama.Currently building orchestration infrastructure for Meta’s Voice AI — driving real-time LLM conversations across speech, safety, memory, and tools. Work spans turn tracking, token processing, and runtime coordination under tight latency.Skills• Languages: Go, C++, Java, Kotlin, Python,~JavaScript• Infra: Kubernetes, Docker, Linux• Storage: S3, DynamoDB, MySQL,~PostgreSQL• Messaging: Kafka, Kinesis• Queues: SQS• Data Formats: Protocol Buffers (Protobuf), JSON, Thrift• Voice & AI: STT, TTS, LLMs, safety layers, token processing, real-time orchestration
