About Paresh Govind

I am a go-getter, progressive, trustworthy, transparent, reliable, dedicated and an enthusiast. Always keen to take on a challenge. Currently employed at at the Zenex Foundation as a Finance and Operations manager inspires me. The core values of the organisation – professional, caring and innovative – reflect the values that I always upheld while undertaking my responsibilities. I have harnessed these traits since joining the Foundation in 2008. I thrive in the organisation’s environment where we live the brand and always strive to make a difference. I have extensive experience in the NGO and NPO sectors. My career as a Financial Accountant and Administrator began at the South African Red Cross Society’s head office based in Saxonwold in the early nineties. In I moved to the Programme for Technological Careers (PROTEC), an NGO in the education sector, as the Financial and Administration Manager. Here I was also nominated as the Skills Development Facilitator by management and staff and played an integral role at Board level representing employees and the Finance Committee in the daily operations of the organisation. Following this I continued working with similar educational organisations like the Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership & Governance, Molteno and Synergos
