My name is Paris Walker and I am currently enrolled in the advanced standing program. My concentration is interpersonal practice with a track in CBT. My expected date to graduate is May 2017. I graduated with my BSW from WSU in May 2015. I decided to take a year off to get experience within the field of social work. I currently work at a mental health agency as a care coordinator. My other professional experience was at a nonprofit child welfare organization called Spaulding for Children located in Southfield, Michigan. In 2014 I interned with the agency for a year under a federal grant called MiTeam. I worked with children and families under prevention, foster care and adoption.
