About Parker Boeing

I am a back end software developer as well as a passionate individual governed by a growth mindset. For the last decade I have cultivated many skills across a wide breadth of institutions. Most of my time was spent in the food service industry, as it allowed me the flexibility to focus on other pursuits such as climbing, writing and playing music. As time went on I became more career driven and found myself being quickly promoted to general management roles, whereupon I found I had a knack for leadership and a desire to hone those skills. I became enamored with the work, which involved cultivating a sense of community and teamwork, streamlining operations, and problem solving on personal, personnel and technical levels. After a handful of years in general management I found myself desiring new challenges in innovative fields with more room for growth. This steered me into computer programming, a field that drew me in due to its dynamic environment, consistent need to learn and adapt, and intriguing subject material. After a grueling six month code school I was fortunate to get hired at an amazing company, UtiliSource. Now I get to do what I love every day surrounded by incredible people. I couldn’t be more grateful for the path I’m on and the steps that brought me here.
