About Parker Ewing

I am a recently graduated student from San Francisco State University with interests in Project/Construction Management, Utilities, and Transportation Engineering. As a student I have been recognized as one of the top engineering students at my school and am in the Tau Beta Pi engineering honors society on campus. Currently I am interning at Central San in Martinez, in the Capital Projects -"Collections" division, where we are responsible for pipe rehabilitation projects covering over 1500 miles of sewer pipe. I handle change orders, verify submittals to specifications, perform in-field investigations of upcoming pipe projects, perform take-off estimates, inspect potholing, as well as other various tasks related to project design and management. I previously interned for San Francisco International airport where I was able to be on site at multiple different projects from FAA Signage upgrades to new electrical substations. It was at SFO that I learned of my affinity for utility work. I am interested in an opportunity where I can learn as much as I can from Professional Engineers, and that will help me attain my own Professional Engineering license, while being a part of important projects.
