About Parker Menzimer

I am a poet, editor, and creative writing instructor. In addition to my work as Programs Manager at the Poetry Society of America, I am a lecturer in the English Department at Brooklyn College. My interests include contemporary poetry, the history of poetry, the history of small-press publishing, fine-art and illustrated-book publishing, and 20th century avant-garde and experimental traditions. As an independent editor with commercial publishing experience, I have offered editorial services to distinguished clients including “Big Five” publishers, small presses, galleries, magazines, and design studios.
