Never would I had imagined being in software sales after operating Nuclear Reactors in the Navy for 8 years. After serving in the U.S. Military for 8 years and supervising 40 sailors in day to day operations, it was time to transition into the "real world" and that is where this unexpectant journey begins. Once my degree was completed my first taste of Corporate America was with a start up out of New York called Makespace. Starting off in operations, I was quickly pegged as the "Yelp" and marketing wizard by the Director of Sales at the company. With this skill set I was later tasked with selling our company to potential investors and venture capitalist, and was touted by one venture capitalist as the reason his company was going to invest $5 million dollars into the company. Needless to say I was employee of the month that month. The growth at Makespace opened up other opportunities at the company where I was named National Training Coordinator. Also had the opportunity as Interim Operations Manager to turn around a failing branch in Chicago. This position required many marketing events to organically grow the company. Within 4 months I was able to double the workforce and triple the monthly revenue of the branch before leaving to help open a new branch in Los Angeles. Needless to say I was named employee of the month yet again. Once growth at the company stalled, I had an opportunity to come work for a software company with amazing growth potential and an industry leader in their space, and I jumped on it. This brings me to my current position today, where I am a Account Manager SLED West SoCal for Veeam Software. I'm looking forward to continued professional growth
