About Parth Chaubey

To introduce myself, I am an advocate, change-agent, and historical perspective professional. I have done Master of Arts in Museum Studies with a focus on historical sites and museums. In addition, I have done research on Indiana Avenue and Old Southside history in Indianapolis, IN, studying the displacement, oral traditions, genealogy, and jazz evolution in these areas. I am passionate about curating change through traditions and to make age-old collections accessible to people of all color. I believe in promoting community engagement through serving differently abled and international communities, and using new emerging innovative technologies in a museum space to promote visitor's experience more immersive and edutaining. By working at Kurt Vonnegut's Forever Home, while acknowledging "Granfalloon" culture, I managed to realize all objectives: from creating accessible environment to people of all color to serving differently abled and native communities, and adopting new technologies to make museum collection more accessible to wider masses, by utilizing last seven years of experience working in a museum and outside museum environment, both in USA and India. For me, caring for and preserving, whether it is a thousand year or contemporary, history will and always be my utmost priority.
