Passionate Metallurgist and Materials Engineer | Quality Assurance Representative at Academy Petroleum Industries As a dedicated professional with a Master’s degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, I am deeply committed to advancing the field of metallurgy and material science. My career goal is to leverage my expertise in welding and materials engineering to drive innovative projects and contribute to industry advancements. Currently, I am working as a Quality Assurance Representative at Academy Petroleum Industries. In this role, I conduct root cause analysis of non-conforming outputs, manage documentation, and utilize ProShop software to ensure quality standards. I also assist the Quality Manager in preparing welding procedures and calibrate various testing equipment, including magnetic particle testing (MT), penetrant testing (PT), and hardness testers. In my previous role as a Junior Production Engineer at Mangalam Steelcast Pvt Ltd, I excelled in optimizing production processes, reducing defect rates, and enhancing product quality. My technical skills include spectrometry, non-destructive testing (NDT), and heat treatment. I am proficient in sample preparation, melting and molding operations, and visual inspections. I hold multiple certifications from Tata Steel in steel making, heat treatment, and desulphurisation, reflecting my commitment to continuous learning and professional development. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to new challenges and opportunities in the field of materials engineering.
