I am a senior at Citadel High School, currently pursuing the International Baccalaureate diploma with a strong interest in leadership, community service, and advancing equity in healthcare. Over the past several years, I have actively engaged in both school and community initiatives — notably founding Citadel’s first IB Student Association and co-founding Halifax Volunteers, a registered nonprofit organization that connects youth with impactful volunteer opportunities across the Halifax Regional Municipality. My experiences include leadership in student council, programming for community recreation, participation in medical mentorship programs such as Dalhousie University’s The Next Surgeon, and involvement in cultural exchange initiatives. These opportunities have significantly influenced my ambition to pursue a career in medicine — one that prioritizes both clinical excellence and meaningful advocacy. I am continually seeking opportunities that allow me to grow as a leader, serve others, and contribute to causes centred on youth empowerment, public health, and community development. I welcome connections with individuals and organizations aligned with these goals.
