About Partha Das
My doctoral research objective was to address the problems associated with the conventional bottom liner systems in landfills. The work required an extensive experimental study and theoretical modelling. A novel barrier system was proposed through my PhD work that has the potential to completely attenuate various hazardous contaminants in the adverse conditions. The work is recognised by reputed Journals, viz, American Chemical Society-Chemical Neuroscience, Nature Scientific Reports, ASCE, International Journal of Geotechnical Engineering, etc. My research interest also include Rainfall-induced Slope Stability Analysis, Forensic Geotechnical Engineering, Unsaturated Soil Mechanics, Soft soil stabilization using Waste Materials and Use of Artificial Intelligence in Geotechnical Engineering
