About Parul Bajaj

I find my passion in working towards a world where quality education is accessible to all children and youth. As by itself quality education tends to elude the disadvantaged communities the most, I find it most fulfilling to work to turn this around. Even though I have not studied education, I am deeply interested in the domain and have been learning different aspects of the domain on the job. My degrees and work experience with MNCs in technology and consulting helps me bring those skills to the education sector. I have a total of 16+ years of work experience - 10+ years have now been in management roles with social enterprises and non-profits committed to quality education for all, and a couple of years as an education enterpreneur enabling an ecosystem that furthers professional journeys that are personally fulfilling. I am good at execution to which I also bring my strengths of good planning, structure, insights and reflection. I love building and nurturing a shared vision, and leading a team in a way that each member shares the vision and is able to leverage their strengths. I am a believer in Strengths based leadership with my top 5 Clifton's Strengths being Connectedness, Input, Intellection, Learner and Responsibility. Zen Buddhism is my spiritual anchor in life.
