About Pascal Darbon
My research is focusing on electrophysiological apporaches to investigate neuronal network functions. My present model is pain processing at spinal and supraspinal level and I'm combining in vivo and in vitro electrophysiology with behavior test and biochemical assay. Since 2008, I'm organizing the electrophysiological school of strasbourg that is offered to Master and PhD students as well as young researchers willing to improve their background in the field of electrophysiology with emphasis on acquisition and analysis of electrophysiological signals. The course consists of a series of lectures completed with tutorial and hands-on sessions covering the various technical and scientific facets of Ephys. I'm teaching Neuroscience and Physiology and I'm particularly concerned about teaching and learning in high education. Therefore I'm regularly attending to additional training at IDIP (Institut de Développement et d'Innovation Pédagogique) of Strasbourg University.
